About This Event
Kundalika River Marathon & Ultra
Run Along the River. Challenge the Sahyadris. Go Beyond Your Limits.
The Kundalika River is a beautiful river flowing from the hills of the Sahyadri mountain range toward the Arabian Sea. Originating near Bhira in Maharashtra, the river passes through the scenic landscapes surrounding Kolad, a popular adventure destination located approximately 110 km from Mumbai, off the Mumbai–Goa Highway.
With its combination of river views, countryside roads, rolling terrain and the backdrop of the Sahyadris, Kolad has been chosen as the home of the Kundalika River Marathon & Ultra.

From recreational runners taking on the 5 KM to endurance athletes attempting the ultimate 100 Mile Ultra, the event offers a challenge for runners across different levels of experience.
The Kundalika River is closely associated with the region's adventure culture. Water released from the Mulshi Dam hydropower system creates rapids along stretches of the river, helping make Kolad one of Maharashtra's best-known destinations for white-water rafting and outdoor adventure.
The Kundalika River Marathon & Ultra brings that same spirit of adventure to running — combining endurance, nature and the rugged beauty of the Sahyadris.
One River. Seven Distances. One Epic Endurance Experience.
